Call on the Richmond City Council to establish a sister city relationship with Sebastia, Palestine!

We, the undersigned residents, community members, and friends of Richmond, California, respectfully urge the Richmond City Council to adopt a resolution establishing a sister city relationship with the city of Sebastia, located in the district of Nablus, Palestine.

A sister city partnership will:

  • Promote cultural exchange and mutual understanding between our communities.
  • Create opportunities for educational, artistic, and economic collaboration.
  • Strengthen Richmond’s commitment to international friendship, solidarity, and peace.
  • Enrich both Richmond and Sebastia through people-to-people connections, shared learning, and lasting bonds of cooperation.

By signing this petition, we affirm our strong support for the Richmond City Council to initiate and approve the sister city agreement with Sebastia, Palestine.
