We, the undersigned residents of Elyson, respectfully request the addition of a sidewalk along Ground Squirrel Road on Horseherb Road. Currently, the absence of a sidewalk on this side of the road poses safety concerns for pedestrians, especially for families with children who wait for the bus, seniors, and individuals walking pets. By installing a sidewalk, our community will enjoy the following benefits:

 1. Enhanced Safety: Pedestrians will have a dedicated path (in addition to the one on the other side of Ground Squirrel Road, reducing the risk of accidents with vehicles especially with fast drivers in our neighborhood.

 2. Improved Accessibility: A sidewalk will allow everyone, including those with strollers or mobility devices, to navigate the neighborhood more easily.

 3. Community Engagement: With better pedestrian access, residents may feel more encouraged to walk, fostering a stronger sense of community.

We believe this is a necessary improvement that will make our neighborhood safer and more enjoyable for everyone. Please consider our request at the next HOA meeting, and we look forward to discussing this further.
