As an empath, I am deeply moved by the plight of animals that are not receiving the love, warmth and food they deserve. This issue is particularly close to my heart in Yanceyville, NC where there are numerous stray cats struggling to survive. Bojangles in Yanceyville alone has about 20 cats and kittens that are starving and cold. These innocent creatures didn't ask to be here just like we didn't.

According to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), approximately 3.2 million shelter animals are adopted each year (1.6 million dogs and 1.6 million cats). However, around 860,000 cats are euthanized annually due lack of space or resources.

Let's make Yanceyville an example of compassion towards our feline friends by establishing this safe haven for them. By doing so we can ensure no cat goes hungry or cold again in our town.
