Our community in Sitka, Alaska is still grappling with the profound loss of our beloved friend and neighbor, Sayer Tuzon. For 18 years, he was a cherished part of our lives - as a best friend to many, a classmate to others, and an embodiment of the true Alaskan spirit that defines us all. His impact on our community was so significant that his peers at Sitka High School recognized him as 'True Alaskan', an honor that speaks volumes about his character and influence.

However, it has come to our attention that this acknowledgment may not be officially recorded. The principal of the school has chosen to remove Sayer completely from the yearbook. This is deeply concerning for those who knew and loved Sayer. We believe it's only fitting to remember him by including a memorial page dedicated to him in the high school yearbook - an enduring tribute that will allow future generations of students to learn about his life and legacy.

We are therefore calling on the administration at Sitka High School to establish this memorial page for Sayer Tuzon. By doing so, they would not only be honoring his memory but also providing comfort and closure for those who continue grieving his untimely passing.

Please join us in urging the school administration to make this important gesture towards preserving Sayer's memory by signing this petition today.
