Establish a Larger Dog Park in Our City

The Issue

Living in our wonderful little town, I am blessed to be the owner of two large dogs. They are like family to me, full of energy and perpetually eager to run and explore. Unfortunately, the size of our local dog park considerably limits their activities. It is largely insufficient for both my dogs and many others in our community.

Our dogs deserve spaces where they can roam freely, play fetch, and interact with other dogs. The current area allocated for the park is miniscule, especially for the larger breeds like mine that require more ample space for exercise.

Using data from American Veterinary Medical Association, there are approximately 63.4 million households in the U.S. that own a dog. Let's not forget our responsibility towards these dogs and the people who open their hearts and homes to them. We need facilities that cater adequately to our furry friends.

We implore the city council to develop a larger dog park. This larger park won't only promote healthier, happier pets, but also foster a stronger sense of community amongst dog owners. Sign this petition if you believe in creating a bigger and better space for our dogs to enjoy.
