Bring Jollibee to Kansas City!

When a Jollibee opened near Detroit, my wife and her Filipino family were overjoyed. For Filipino families everywhere, Jollibee is more than fast food. It's the taste of birthday parties, family outings, and home. I want Kansas City to have that too.

Jollibee is the Philippines' largest fast-food chain, beloved for its crispy Chickenjoy, sweet-style Jolly Spaghetti, and peach mango pies, with more than 1,300 stores around the world. Yet the Kansas City metro, a region of over 2 million people with a Filipino community that has been part of this city for generations, doesn't have a single one. Right now, fans here either drive hundreds of miles or go without.

The timing has never been better. Jollibee has started franchising in the United States for the first time and is looking for experienced operators to open restaurants in new markets. A Jollibee here would bring local jobs, give every Kansas Citian a chance to try something new and delicious, and give our Filipino neighbors a real taste of home.
