I am an avid Fortnite player from Bangkok, Thailand. However, my gaming experience is consistently marred by high ping rates due to the lack of local servers. This issue extends beyond me and affects all players in Southeast Asia who are forced to connect to distant servers resulting in significant lag.

Currently, there are no Fortnite servers located anywhere in Southeast Asia. This places us at a huge disadvantage compared to players from other regions who enjoy smoother gameplay with lower latency times. It's not just about winning or losing; it's about having the ability to play the game as intended without constant interruptions and delays.

According to Ookla's Speedtest Global Index (2020), Thailand ranks 74th out of 176 countries for broadband speed, which further exacerbates our gaming woes when coupled with server distance issues.

We believe that Epic Games has both the resources and responsibility to address this problem by establishing a server in Southeast Asia - preferably Thailand - thereby providing an equitable gaming environment for all its users worldwide.
