The Issue

As someone personally affected by the lack of a direct route between K-Bar Pkwy and other main roads, I am aware of the severe consequences this deficiency can have.

Studies by the American Heart Association (AHA) have indicated that an optimal response time threshold for survival to hospital discharge is around 6.2 minutes.

Due to the absence of a direct connection, emergency responders like ambulances, firefighters, and police officers take twice as long - 12 minutes instead of 6 - to reach critical scenes. This potentially increases risks and jeopardizes lives in emergency situations, including the precious lives of our beloved community members.

A streamlined route is not just a question of convenience but of utmost importance when considering the safety and well-being of residents. The development of an improved link between K-Bar Pkwy and Morris Bridge Rd. is a critical need that can no longer be sidelined.

We urge our local government, transportation officials, and community leaders to make this project a high priority to ensure fast and effective emergency response times.

Our petition is a plea for immediate action.

If you share our need to keep our community safe, your signature will contribute to making much-needed progress. Please stand up for the safety and well-being of all our residents. Sign this petition today, and help us ensure a direct road link between K-Bar Pkwy and Morris Bridge Rd. becomes a reality.
