We, Jignesh Patel and Jay Parmar , are advocating on behalf of the growing community of cricket players in Owen Sound, Grey County. Currently, there are approximately 50 to 60 active
players with about 25 playing on any given day. Despite this significant number of participants, we lack a dedicated cricket ground and find ourselves searching for suitable places to play each day. This situation is not only inconvenient but also discourages the growth of this popular sport in our community.

Cricket is more than just a game; it promotes physical fitness and fosters camaraderie among its players. Having a dedicated cricket ground similar to that in Port Elgin would great enhance our ability to practice regularly and host local tournaments.

We believe that establishing such an amenity would not only benefit current players but also attract more residents towards this international sport - contributing positively towards the overall health and diversity of recreational activities available within Grey County.

Therefore, we urge you to consider our request for a dedicated cricket ground in Owen Sound
seriously. Your support can help us grow as athletes and make cricket an integral part of our
