A free food forest not only fosters a sense of unity, but it also provides a sustainable solution to hunger and nourishment-related issues. 

In a community food forest, people of the community can volunteer to plant, tend, and harvest a diverse range of local fruits, vegetables, nuts, and herbs. This forest will serve as a free source of healthy, organic food and help address the food insecurity that is prevalent in our community. Despite living in a developed nation, around 13.7 million households faced food insecurity in 2019 as per United States Department of Agriculture.

This is an opportunity to enable self-sufficiency, promote environmental consciousness, and foster strong ties within our community.
