Yes - of Your text. When I heard an MP call for a blasphemy law, the cowardly murder of Salwan Momika, the arrest of the peaceful Manchester Demonstrator, I thought, BURN THEM ALL. But that's too easy.
Free speech isn't you getting to speak,
it's letting others that you don’t agree with - speak
So we need to show them our commitment to free speech, not by burning theirs , but by burning a symbolic copy of something precious to US. eg:
VP JD Vance - "the Art of the Deal"* RICHARD DAWKINS - “the Origin of Species”, NIGEL FARAGE - “A poppy”, KEMI BADENNOCH - “Union Jack”... ARCH BISH CANT - “King James Bible”, LATTER DAY SAINTS - “Book of Mormon”, ORTHODOX - “An Icon”, COMMUNISTS - “Das Kapital”, PETER TATCHELL - "copy of Gay News"........ you get the idea .... it has to hurt, or it don't do no good.
In this way, this becomes a positive act , can't be dismissed as "far-right", "extremist", "disgruntled" individuals , those that won't take part will be conspicuous by their absence, exposed as the intolerant, and oppressive.
We propose the establishment of "Freedom Day” on 8th July each year. This date commemorates the abolition of the Blasphemy Laws in England and Wales and serves to remind us to stay vigilant and proactive in protecting our fundamental right to free speech.
As part of the celebrations, representative's of every faith, belief, creed, political and social movement would be invited to DEMONSTRATE their commitment to Free Speech and opposition to Blasphemy Laws by symbolically submitting a sacred symbol or text of THEIR'S to the flames.

Many of us breathed a sigh of relief on 8th July 2008 when the blasphemy laws were finally abolished in England & Wales. No more stupid cases of poems or films being banned or prosecuted.
All was OK we thought, but the forces of repression and ignorance Never sleep.
A few weeks ago we watched the chilling sight of an MP calling for laws to stop the "desecration of holy books, and the Abrahamic Prophets" at prime ministers questions , and the PM not slapping him down; a direct call for a new Blasphemy law by the back-door.
And now we have the cowardly murder of the activist in Sweden, the arrest of the peaceful demonstrator in Manchester, the cowardly knife attack on a peaceful protester at the Turkish Embassy , and his disgraceful arrest.
We need to push back against intolerance, and make free speech and religious freedom the Norm. True Religious freedom has to include FREEDOM FROM RELIGION if it's to mean anything, and make the call of that MP and others the laughing stock it should be.
We, like many citizens in the UK, cherish our right to freedom of speech. This fundamental liberty, which allows us to openly express our beliefs without fear of censorship or legal repercussions, is the essence of a democratic society. However, our daily lives reveal an unsettling trend. We've seen waves of censorship and calls for the reinstatement of laws that are eerily similar to the old Blasphemy Laws, and these actions threaten the hard-won liberty we hold dear.
We have watched, with growing concern, as attempts to "protect" religious sentiments steadily encroach upon our freedom of speech. They worry that, without intervention, we will regress to a society where our voices are dulled, and our thoughts controlled.
Our ultimate vision is a society where freedom of speech is not seen as something weird, far-right, strange , but celebrated and upheld. We hope that by marking 8th July as "Freedom Day" across the UK, we will inspire a continuous dialogue about the importance of our cherished rights and motivate people to stand up against any threats to these freedoms.
