On March 31st, a pregnant brindle mixed breed dog was found deceased in a plastic bag in the vicinity of the Seventy-five road, in the town of Moriah. The dog was later identified as “Daisy,” owned and dumped by two of the town’s residents, whose names will be left anonymous.

On April 6th, Essex County Sheriff’s Office issued the two residents a citation for Littering on Public Property.

These two deserve more of a punishment than a fifty dollar fine!
