As some are aware my son (2 years old) was attacked by a horse as we walked along the footpath between dark lane and Runnymede chase, thankfully he has recovered well and is okay but I am very concerned that this will happen again to someone else and the outcome could be worse! 

I have contacted so far, the owner of the horse, castle point borough council, two councilors, our local MP, 101, castle point and rochford policing team and Essex county council all of which to no avail. 

Because Essex county council have only ever received my complaint and have not heard of any other complaints they can't persue the issue further until more complaints are made in respect to the horses and poor fencing which could also mean more injuries and unprovoked attacks, which is exactly what I am trying to prevent from happening! 

I would really appreciate any support I can get with this so we can hopefully make the footpath safe for everyone without the fear of being bitten or attacked by the horses.
