Today is the first day of the week of action to take down the Confederate monument (also a Jim Crow monument) on Prince Street in Tappahannock, Virginia!

On July 27, 2020, the organizers of Tappahannock's Black Lives Matter March and Marcus-David Peters Community Day gave the Essex County Board of Supervisors a resolution to take down the Jim Crow monument.

Now we need the people to call the Essex County Board of Supervisors and tell them to pass the resolution during their meeting on August 11, 2020.

The resolution needs the voice of the people to pass, so call them today!

If they don't answer, leave a voicemail for them!
