Today is the second day of the week of action to take down the Confederate monument (which is also a Jim Crow monument from 1909) on Prince Street in Tappahannock, Virginia!

On July 27, 2020, the organizers of Tappahannock’s Black Lives Matter March and Marcus-David Peters Community Day gave the Essex County Board of Supervisors a resolution to take down the Jim Crow monument.

Now we need the people to email the Essex County Board of Supervisors and tell them to pass the resolution during the meeting on August 11, 2020!
