Lauren Hill passed away in April from a rare brain tumor, but not before impacting millions around the world and raising awareness for DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma)

Caitlyn Jenner has showed remarkable courage and has given comfort to those facing similar circumstances which has educated people about the transgender community.

The Arthur Ashe Courage Award is an award that is part of the ESPY Awards. It is presented annually to individuals whose contributions "transcend sports".
