Coach Frank Beamer has been an institution in college football for 29 years as head coach at Virginia Tech. The hosts of ESPN's College GameDay have always spoken highly of him, expressing their gratitude for his early support back when the show was just getting started. Coach Beamer helped to make that show what it is today.

I hope Hokies everywhere will come together to ask that ESPN College GameDay bring their show to the campus of Virginia Tech on November 21st to honor and support Coach Frank Beamer for his last home game.

I'm a long-time College GameDay fan, an alumnus of Virginia Tech, and a former member of the Beamer Bones section of the Marching Virginians. I've played our fight song during tough drives, traveled with them to bowl games, and been there to cheer on Coach Beamer and our team. I've held signs in the background of College GameDay. Hokie pride runs deep, as I'm sure you all know. Let's band together and give Coach Beamer the send off he deserves! The send off he has more than earned.
