Suspend Stephen A. Smith of ESPN's First Take

Suspend Stephen A. Smith of ESPN's First Take
The Issue
This petition asks that The Walt Disney Corporation, ABC Network and ESPN collectively suspend and/or reprimand Stephen A. Smith of First Take for his racist, demeaning and divisive comments towards African-American's viewers live on national television.
The Disney Corporation is a family-based entity that embraces diversity and equality as core values, however Stephen A. Smith, a Disney Corporation Employee, openly, brazenly and hypocritically demeans, ridicules and offends African-Americans viewers in violation of these values. This petition asks that Stephen A. Smith apologize (as he did with regard to his recent offensive and demeaning domestic violence comments) and no longer verbally attack African-Americans, that he refrain from telling First Take viewers live on air that he "doesn't care what African-Americans think," and that he no longer uses ESPN airtime to lecture, bemoan and marginalize African-American culture.
As sports enthusiasts, we are excited to watch First Take. The show is loved by millions. Millions of all races of people. First Take, however, thru the offensive comments of Stephen A. Smith, offends African-American viewers by allowing racist comments that would not be allowed on any other ESPN programming. Stephen A. Smith does not use Disney/ESPN airtime to single out those in the Asian community or those in the Hispanic, Jewish, Caucasian or Native American communities. He doesn't single out those in the LGBT community. Nor does Stephen A. Smith single out women. When he attempted to, ESPN immediately suspended him for his divisive and sexist comments.
Rather, Stephen A. Smith uses Disney/ESPN airtime to single out African-Americans exclusively. This is done in a dismissive, condescending, repeated and offensive manner. Therefore, as noted above, this petition asks that Stephen A. Smith (1) apologize for his racist comments, (2) refrain from demeaning, marginalizing and singling out African-Americans viewers and (3) that he utilize ESPN airtime to give healthy debate to relevant SPORTS topics.
