Errol Denton is a medically unqualified individual who offers worthless "live blood analysis" and "iridology" as diagnostic services, and, based on these, claims to treat and cure serious diseases including cancer and diabetes. He claims to be a Harley Street natural physician and has used the term "Dr Denton", but he has absolutely no recognised medical training or qualifications
His response to legitimate criticism has been to launch a vitriolic campaign to defame his critics with false allegations, mainly of racism (see for example the posts of his Twitter sockpuppet account @FightRacism2).
BBC's You And Yours featured Errol Denton [segment starts aprox 26:45] as an example of someone abusing a Harley Street address - in reality a room rented by the hour - to pretend to medical expertise which he does not have. The programme noted the fact that live blood analysis is an entirely bogus technique, for which practitioners routinely charge hundreds of pounds.
Errol Denton is unable to substantiate the claims he makes for his business. This has resulted in his business being blacklisted by the Advertising Standards Authority as a non-compliant advertiser.
His attacks against two named individuals who (among others) reported him, constitute a campaign of harassment via defamatory allegations with no basis in fact. His false and libellous commentary has been deleted by WordPress, iPetitions, Care2 (twice), Facebook and other providers. His response has been to continually republish it on different hosts, and to set up a petition site of his own, which he deceitfully promotes including by paying people to sign.
His actions are atrocious. His targets, two female bloggers, have between them reported hundreds of quacks for false advertising - of these only a handful, fewer than 5% are black. Errol Denton's allegations of racism are as unfounded as his claims to cure cancer or to be a doctor.
It needs to stop.
