I am writing this to shed light to an issue that has come to my attention regarding products within your stores. It appears that TJ Maxx-owned stores have been selling Israeli manufactured products which support an apartheid state.

Israel has been committing war crimes against Palestinians for 73 years, with the attempt of ethnically cleansing Palestine in order to reify a Jewish state on their land. This forced expulsion and dispossession of the Palestinian people from their homes is implementing incremental genocide against Palestinians.

At no point is it acceptable to allow for exceptionalism in supporting state-sanctioned violence and colonialism. This cooperation directly mirrors Israel’s laxity towards basic human rights when contributing to such a cause.

It is a necessary means of action to hold the Israeli regime accountable, and therefore not fund or profit from their violations of human rights.

This consequently reiterates my deep urge for TJ Maxx to reconsider their partnership with any Israeli-based companies, allowing for a better reflection of our ethos which allows us to bring a broad range of products to consumers from all backgrounds. Creating a safer more honest space for our customers as well as reinforcing our morals as a store.

I strongly recommend you to reconsider working with Israeli-based manufacturers, as this automatically displays a political bias, when alternatively you should be upholding the simple principle of protection of human rights for both your consumers and employees.

I stand in support of the Palestinian right to liberation and decolonization, and the boycott of Israel.
