Dear friends and supporters,

Thank you for your patience — it has been nearly three months since our last update, and we know many of you have been wondering where things stand.

Here is what we know:

We believe the Parole Board has delivered its recommendation to the Governor, though there is no formal confirmation of this. The Parole Board’s recommendation is confidential. We will never know what it was.
The Governor has complete discretion. He may accept the recommendation, reject it, or take no action at all. There is no required timeline for the Governor to respond — or not respond.

Where we are now:
We remain hopeful and are choosing to wait patiently through March 1, allowing the process to unfold without unnecessary pressure.

How you can help right now:

  • Hold my brother Kofi and my entire family in your prayers, thoughts, energy, and meditations — in whatever form aligns with your beliefs.
  • Share the clemency support petition and the clemency recommendation video widely to keep awareness strong.
  • If you have direct connections to the Governor and are willing to help make an introduction, please email us at clemencyforkofi@gmail.com.

What comes next:

If we have not heard anything by March 1, we will make a clear call for public support directed to the Governor’s office. Please stay tuned — we will be specific and strategic.
Your support continues to matter more than we can express. Thank you for standing with us — with patience, hope, and determination.

With gratitude,
Nzinga on behalf of my brother Kofi and our entire family
