My online petition would be banning social media. The reason I want social media banned is because I believe as a society we spend too much time on the internet. As a society, I believe we should educate ourselves more and read more rather than sensing time looking at pictures of each other. Another reason I would like to ban social media is because, I feel that we do not spend time with loved ones or close friends because we feel as if we see them all the time because we are constantly looking at pictures of them. I feel that are people skills has taken a step backwards. Banning people from social would hopefully encourage people to put the phones down and hang out with friends and family, and ultimately cause them to pick up a book.
