In the last few days, there has been a lot of back and forth regarding US Equestrian's decision to withdraw the competition license from 4 weeks of the World Equestrian Center's new show in Ocala. In the email sent out by US Equestrian Chief Executive Officer William Moroney, he cites 'confusion' and 'horse and human safety and welfare' as reasons for the withdrawal. The reality is, there have already been conversations this year about how this sport is becoming exceedingly more expensive, less accessible, and how we need to find ways to promote equality, inclusivity, and find ways to grow and promote the sport. In light of that, this petition is an attempt to continue that conversation and support those who are attempting to do so!
