A petition is a written document that people sign to show that they want a person or organization to do or change something, a formal written request made to an official person or organization.

  The change I would like to see and promote to happen with Pop Warner and Peace River football is that all of the kids and fields get treated equally.

   Why is there certain fields that are run down, but others get upgraded fields with more benefits than others. There has been fields such as Lehigh Raiders and I’m sure others that have had unpaid volunteers controlling all of the money and it ends up coming up missing with no consequences.

  Also certain fields like Lehigh Raiders let coaches coach with bad backgrounds with felonies within the last 5 years, Coach Joshua Reid has been as well as multiple others at that field, president of the Peace River conference of Pop Warner was arrested Mike Elg September 22,2020, the league said if he is found guilty he will be suspended for a “minimum of 5 years”! So why are other felons on the premises of a government owned facility field that the Peace River conference and Pop Warner use and hand out back ground checks to only ignore and hide and sweep under the rug while other fields don’t get too.

  To only make this right there needs to be paying jobs added, So the stealing of money/donations is stopped, equipment stops coming up missing, and there is accountability when backgrounds aren’t passed. There needs to be certain standards that are transparent to the public and on the walls of the field or posted. I had a felony in 2006 and I got recommended not to coach this year 2024, but I was allowed to coach in 2023. That makes no sense at all, but there is coaches at the Lehigh Raiders field that have recent felonies within the last 5 years, Reid Joshua 6 u head coach at Lehigh Raiders,,,,,,Minor Jana Kay,,,,,Seminole Kristy Tekla,,,,,, and there is more just look up the coaches at certain fields.

   Anyways this system that is taking place now is like a good ol’ boy system and it needs to be changed. This whole program and process should be all about the kids which are our future. I grew up in foster care and football/ Pop Warner in Labelle Fl was a savior for me. Football taught me character and it was a place for me to escape the reality that I didn’t have real parents and I got to feel like I was apart of something. There is still some people that care and want better for the organization, but there is not enough fairness or funds. Please make this organization all about the kids, one big pot where all the money goes and then gets distributed out amongst leagues equally. And make some of these positions paying jobs even if it has to come out of the funds. There has just got to be a better way then what is taking place now. No kid should get left behind or forgot about because he plays for this field but if he played for this field he would get!

I’ve reported so much to the Peace River conference and Pop Warner and they aren’t doing nothing but trying to sweep it under the rug.
