Make Epic Games allow an Infinity Blade remaster using the assets they put out

The Issue

Most Infinity Blade fans were saddened when the Infinity Blade Trilogy was taken off the App Store after 8 years of the franchise's history. This was due to Chair Entertainment (a company owned by Epic Games that developed the games) needing to focus more on development of their new "Spyjinx". They were worried that maintaining iOS updates for the franchise would hinder development and was no longer sustainable.

The reason as to why the Trilogy won't be coming back to the App Store is because the franchise isn't profitable to Epic anymore. It costs too much for them to maintain updates to iOS versions and Fortnite makes much more money. Epic Games has also not sold the rights to the Intellectual Property to a company that could sustain the Trilogy.

This is what presents the problem now. An Infinity Blade fan on the Infinity Blade Discord server was working on a PC Port and Remaster of the first Infinity Blade game. Development of the Infinity Blade 1 Remaster was going along but was still in it's early stages, when the fan developer contacted Epic Games they got a Cease and Desist in return. Despite the fact that most of the assets were new and original assets not directly ripped from Infinity Blade's game files that were created by the fan developer.

While it can be argued that Epic Games owns the Inellectual Property of Infinity Blade, they have not released a new game in the franchise since September 2013 which was 7 years ago as of late, the last Content Update was released in 2014. The series has now been discontinued and abandoned for nearly 2 years since December 2018. The Infinity Blade PC Remaster was a non-profit fan project being developed using the free Infinity Blade assets that Epic Games themselves had put out on the UE 4 Marketplace along with the newly produced meshes and textures. If Epic Games is going to discontinue the Infinity Blade franchise due to them not making enough sustainable profits then they could at the very least allow a fan-made remaster to be made and sustained by a capable group of fans.
