At Envision Science Academy, we believe in the concept of "Stimulate the whole mind.  Educate the whole child." 

Based on the latest studies and statements from Governor Cooper and his administration, we are ready to bring back the children's learning environment to it's fullest potential and make mask wearing optional for students, faculty and staff.  We have strong scientific evidence that supports the Governor's amendments, and updates to the Strong Schools toolkit. 

As our ESA school board meets on Monday night (2/21/2022), we encourage them to quickly follow the Governor's advice, and allow the choice of mask wearing to the individual.  There is no need to wait.  Waiting doesn't change the numbers or the advice given by our officials.  Many schools in the area are making changes starting as early as 2/22/2022, and we would encourage our ESA board members and leadership to do the same.  It is time we decrease the fear around covid, and give our children more normalcy in their education so we can set them up for success.  Reclaiming normal life for our kids is the best way to support and protect them. 

Vote to have masks optional on our ESA campus effective 2/22/2022 to show support to our families, teachers and staff.
