It is important that members of the Indiana House of Representatives hear from you— TONIGHT and TOMORROW.
To bring you up to date, the House Environmental Affairs Committee rewrote the bill Wednesday April 7th 2020 with Amendment 24. (The amendment incorporates many of the principles asked of lawmakers which was good.) But, now more amendments (not agreed upon) are being proposed to remove and lessen our wetland protection‼️‼️‼️
We’re at a critical stage in the legislative process and it’sIt’s important that these bad amendments fail— so please reach out to your member of the Indiana House and make a very simple request:
Ask them to vote no on all second-reading amendments to Senate Bill 389.
You can find their names and contact information at: http://iga.in.gov/legislative/find-legislators. Contact other representatives you may know that don’t represent you directly.
Every voice counts right now.
