On Friday September 18th they began draining the Hollister Reservoir (Dry Dam) with no knowledge of the local's concerns, or care for the ecosystem that it created.

Today we will stand together as a community to voice our opinions and concerns for the future of Covington Township and our beloved "Dry Dam". We will stand together as one to get this fixed and refill the dam to it's previous state. Many animals, fish,  reptiles, and birds depend on this dam to survive. We will not sit by and watch our memories flowing through that gate! Stand with us and get our dam back!

We truly love this area and it's beauty, i couldn't imagine it without the dam! We all have memories, and we want to continue making memories with generations to come!
