Stop cruel killing of wild animals
The Issue
It has been claimed by Honourable Union Cabinet Minister Maneka Gandhi that centre has allowed killing of 'nilgai' in Bihar, elephants in West Bengal, monkeys in Himachal Pradesh, peacocks in Goa and wild boars in Chandrapur. 200 nilgai or blue bulls have already been shot in Bihar in last 6 days. On one side, we are protecting cow (gai) on the basis of religion and on the other hand we are killing nilgai and even our national bird peacock.
Even if these animals are causing damage to the crops, killing is not the solution, ministry should start controlled-breeding programmes of these wild animals.
Please stop this cruelty to the innocent animals.
