Stop the People's Republic of China destroying coral reefs

The Issue

The world's coral reefs are under extreme environmental pressure from climate change. Experts around the world are looking at ways that these unique environments, which are essential to the ongoing diversity of our planet's marine life and ultimately the survival of our own species, can be saved.

As these incredible natural wonders come closer and ever closer to extinction the People's Republic of China appears to be deliberately trying to to do it's best to hasten their destruction in the South China Sea. In a recent article, the BBC journalist Rupert Winfield-Hayes presents evidence of this deliberate destruction.

We call upon Mr Chen Jining, Environment Minister of the People's Republic of China to immediately halt this wanton destruction and to implement and enforce policies to protect the world's coral reefs.
