Ensuring full Accessibility for All Individuals with Disabilities.

Ensuring full Accessibility for All Individuals with Disabilities.
The Issue
Hey you! Yes, you! I am a person with disabilities and unfortunately understand first-hand the struggles of living in a world not built for people with disabilities. Way too many physical spaces, and digital platforms were designed without considering the needs and abilities of all people with some form of a disability. This issue is not just personal to me; it's a global problem. A problem that needs to be solved. An estimated 15% of the world’s population experiences some form of disability, yet full and equal access to all parts of life remains a dream, rather than a reality for many of us. (World Health Organization).
Nearly one billion children and adults with disabilities lack access to assistive technology. Nearly one billion of them are denied access, particularly in low-and middle-income countries, where access can be as low as 3% of the need for these life-changing products. This needs to change; NOW. Everything must become fully inclusive and accessible, making 'access for all' its motto – because disability should never mean disqualification. We must demand buildings with adequate ramps, visual signs for the hearing impaired, websites that are readable for the visually impaired, and more. Together, we can create a society that truly values and accommodates all of its members, regardless of their abilities. We can all be kings or queens.
If you sign this petition, you're signing something that could help change the world. Just think: 'I helped rebuild the world.' Please. Not just for me, but for everyone in the world.
