Restore the Download & Transfer via USB Option – Allow customers to continue downloading Kindle books to their computers for offline transfer.

Ensure Access for Older Kindle Users – Many Kindle devices without Wi-Fi or those affected by discontinued 3G services depend on USB transfers for continued usability.

Maintain Consumer Rights Over Purchased Content – Readers who purchase books should have the flexibility to access and back up their digital libraries in a convenient manner.

Provide Transparency on Digital Ownership – If changes to access and download options are necessary, customers deserve clear explanations and alternatives that do not restrict their ability to read their purchased content.

Clearly Advertise the Nature of eBook Purchases – Customers should be explicitly informed that they are buying a license to access rather than full ownership of a digital book.
