Overall though a good move - virtual is less stressful.

However ultimately the chair can decide who is allowed to observe and who isn't, which may interfere with it being a true public hearing and turn into being more like a private one by proxy.

Things to consider:

- Last minute document submission may be more difficult to check on line v's in person

- Will the NMC pick who they allow to observe and exclude those they perceive need to be through the online application to attend?

- If cameras are off how can NMC ensure confidentiality from household members?
