Hi, my name is Samuel, and I’m a student at Stonefields School. I want to talk about something that’s been bothering me and a lot of other kids in our school. When we have mat time, we have to sit on the floor, and it’s not very comfortable. It makes it hard for us to focus and learn because sitting on the floor can be really tough on our backs and legs.

I think we should have chairs and desks during mat time. If we had our own chairs and desks, it would make sitting and learning much more comfortable. We could pay more attention and do a better job with our schoolwork. When we’re comfortable, it’s easier to listen, think, and participate in class. It’s really important to be comfy so we can learn well and feel good at school.

The Ministry of Education says that having a nice and comfy place to learn helps us do better in school. So, I believe that having chairs and desks for mat time would be a great idea. We deserve to have a good place to sit while we’re learning. It’s not just about us – it’s about making sure everyone has the best chance to do well in school.

A lot of kids in our school agree with me and think this would make a big difference. We’re asking for your help to make this change happen.
