As a woman, I am deeply concerned about the safety and privacy of women in gender-specific spaces such as restrooms and locker rooms. It is not right for men or those identifying as women to be able to enter these spaces meant for women. This is not an unwarranted concern - allowing unrestricted access can potentially give perverts, pedophiles, or any corrupt individuals an opportunity to harass or sexually assault women.

According to the National Sexual Violence Resource Center, one in five women will be raped at some point in their lives. This statistic alone should highlight the urgency of this issue. We need stricter policies that protect our safe spaces from potential harm.

This petition calls on lawmakers and business owners alike to take action by implementing clear rules that prevent men or those identifying as women from entering gender-specific rooms meant for females only. By doing so, we can ensure the safety and privacy of all females using these facilities.
