Ensure Safety for Jewish Communities in the UK

The Issue

I am deeply affected by the recent incident on the London Underground, where a train driver shouted "Free, free Palestine". This act of intimidation directed towards Jewish communities is not only unacceptable but also qualifies as a hate crime. No one should be made to feel intimidated for their religion in London or anywhere else. Antisemitism is not acceptable!

The UK has seen an alarming rise in antisemitic incidents over recent years. According to Community Security Trust (CST), there were 1,805 antisemitic incidents recorded nationwide in 2019 - a 7% increase from 2018 and the highest total CST has ever recorded for a calendar year.

This incident on the London Underground is just one example of this growing issue. The individual responsible should not only lose his job but also face charges under hate crime legislation.

It's time we took decisive action to ensure that all members of our society can live without fear of religious persecution or discrimination. We call upon Transport for London and local law enforcement agencies to take immediate action against this individual and send out a clear message that such behaviour will not be tolerated.

Please sign this petition to stand up against hate crimes and ensure safety for Jewish communities across the UK!
