Well I think we all expected good things when we heard York council were taking over the maintenance of fulford cemetery. We all thought it would be paid council employees maintaining the cemetery, but it seems they are now asking for volunteers. My question is where is York residents council tax money going? Part of your council tax money is set aside for the maintenance of cemeteries through the precept fund.
