On Saturday, March 8, 2025, worlds were forever shattered when a beautiful baby girl lost her life tragically at the hands of her mother who made a choice to drive drunk late at night, ultimately ending up in a canal and trapped while the adults in the vehicle escaped unharmed. The beautiful baby girl lost her life as a result of her injuries despite the best efforts of the EMTs on the scene. Her mother did not even try to rescue her child from the backseat. 
Juliette Acosta, 26, of Oakdale California has a track record of reckless behavior ultimately enabled by her family, whose money and connections have repeatedly got Juliette out of trouble. Juliette felt untouchable, and devastatingly, this mentality was projected onto her daughter, a four year old angel who’s no longer with us due to her mother’s selfish and unimaginable decision to drive drunk. 
Juliette is already bailed out of jail as her family scrambles to cover up the crime and lessen her charges. 
We ask for the local communities to rally and help bring this poor babygirl to peace once and for all and for her mother to face the consequences she so rightly deserves. Currently Juliette is facing felony DUI charges but she MUST be held accountable for the death of her child. A proper and accurate sentencing must be pursued, including DUI homicide. 
Without this conviction, Juliette will continue her poor decision making, putting herself and others at risk, or worse. Please help us push for the proper outcome by signing this petition to help ensure Juliette is charged to the fullest extent of the law.
Our hope is that law enforcement and an eventual jury sees this plea from our community as a push forward to what’s right.
