Teachers would so be forced to, well, forcibly outing trans students, even when they are in transphobic households. By stifling access to diverse stories and educational materials, this bill seeks to narrow the perspectives available to students, undercutting the very foundation of a well-rounded education, as well as harm and endanger LGBTQ+ children.

Education is a powerful tool for change. Schools should be safe havens for all students, places where they can learn about the world around them in all its rich diversity.
