Ensure fair treatment and uphold due process for Denzell Adams
The Issue
Over the past several months, I have endured an experience that has been deeply painful, humiliating, and frightening. Serious allegations have been made against me, and I want to make one thing clear: I firmly deny these allegations and maintain that I have done nothing wrong.
From the beginning, I have hoped and prayed for a fair and timely resolution so that the truth can finally come to light. Because this matter is ongoing and I have been advised by my attorneys not to discuss the specific allegations in detail, I will respect that advice. I do not want to interfere with the legal process or turn this situation into a public trial.
What I am asking for is something much simpler: please do not condemn me before all of the facts have been heard.
August 7, 2025, was one of the most humiliating and devastating days of my life. I experienced an ordeal that I would never wish upon another person. Since then, I have continued trying to navigate an incredibly difficult situation while dealing with accusations, judgment, harassment, and statements about me that I believe are completely untrue.
What has hurt perhaps the most is seeing people who once knew me, including people I considered friends and family, reach conclusions about me without knowing everything that has happened or having access to all of the evidence. Stories have been repeated, opinions have become treated as facts, and I have felt as though I have been condemned without being given the opportunity to fully defend myself.
I am asking you to wait for the truth.
Please do not treat an accusation as a conviction. Please do not allow rumors, social-media discussions, or the opinions of others to replace the legal process. I believe that every person deserves the opportunity to defend themselves and have their evidence heard before being labeled or condemned.
The principles of liberty and due process are supposed to mean something. In the United States, an accusation does not erase a person's right to be heard, and a person should not have their entire character defined by allegations that have not been proven.
I have spent much of my life trying to bring happiness to other people through music and through the things I create. I have tried to help people, encourage people, and bring smiles to those who needed them. I have always believed that people deserve compassion, regardless of their age, race, background, or circumstances.
Children, especially, have always held a special place in my heart. There is something incredibly meaningful about seeing a person smile, laugh, learn, and simply enjoy being a child. One of the people involved in this situation is someone I did care deeply about, and I have always wanted the best for her.
I am not asking anyone to ignore evidence. I am not asking anyone to blindly believe me. I am asking for fairness.
I am asking people to allow the legal process to take place, to consider the evidence, and to wait until the truth has been established before deciding who I am or what I have done.
I know what is true about my own actions, and I will continue to stand by my innocence and cooperate with the proper legal process.
If you believe that everyone deserves due process, that accusations should be investigated fairly, and that people should not be condemned before the facts are known, please consider signing this petition.
Your signature does not require you to take sides. It simply says:
“Hear the evidence. Let the truth be established. Do not condemn someone before the facts are known.”
To everyone who has stood beside me, listened to me, encouraged me, prayed for me, or simply reminded me that I am not alone during this nightmare: thank you. Your support has meant more to me than I can put into words.
I will continue to face this situation, no matter how difficult it becomes, and I will continue hoping that the truth will ultimately speak for itself.
Thank you for taking the time to hear me.
May God bless you all.
