This tells us our cause is right and our voice needs to be heard... ❤️❤️
This is no longer just a TPS issue. *This is an American issue.*
Congress is keeping quiet about the growing crisis within Social Security. And this is a big problem for our entire country.
Why? Because our own government — moving funny as we all know it has been — authorized individuals to work legally, to pay taxes, and to pay into their pensions and into OUR Social Security system with lawfully earned equity, without ever having a plan for how that "Temporary" status would end, or what would happen to the lawfully earned money of the people they approved.
This is about American fairness. This is about keeping our promise as a nation.
A lot of tax money is being taken and being spent on so much, yet not much good is being done — and certainly not being done right.
I appreciate your attention to this matter, because this is affecting people in all 50 states as the whole world is watching it all unfold.
I believe this message will be heard loud and clear if we do not sleep on our right to speak up.
I hope we can reach everyone and anyone this matters to — neighbors no matter where they are from — because this applies to them, or to someone they know or love.
I encourage you to please share this petition widely, even to groups on social media platforms relevant to immigration and workers' rights.
