We’re pleased to share another encouraging update. Following a very productive and friendly meeting with the Ashburn Farm HOA President Scott Batchelder and Vice President, we now have a verbal agreement to move forward with a summer swim contract that allows for home meets.
During the meeting, we walked through how we arrived at this point and acknowledged that some miscommunication contributed to earlier concerns. We appreciate the open and collaborative dialogue and the Board’s willingness to work together to arrive at a mutually acceptable solution to ensure that our kids will get to enjoy another fun summer of Barracudas swimming.
The Barracudas are actively addressing safety-related concerns, and we have already received a draft meet schedule from the CSL, which reinforces the feasibility of hosting home meets this summer.
Thank you to everyone who signed and supported this petition. Your voices mattered and helped bring us to a positive, solution-focused path forward. We’ll continue to share updates as next steps are finalized.
