Tomorrow is the deadline called for in our letter of demands. Yesterday, prior to our protest in front of Arden Villas' gates, the complex announced receipt of our demand letter and said it would respond to it "in a more expansive manner in the coming days".

Tonight we hold our breaths, nearly 38,000 strong, and hope it is the answer we have fought for. If it is, then we shall keep a watchful eye on Arden Villas and Preiss Co, to ensure they keep their promise. But if it is not, then further action on our part is required.

Read the room, Donna, Adam, Jessica; Spare no expense. For it was your inaction that caused this, and there's only one way to make it end.

We want justice for Miya. We want it safe in this community. We want clear communication from the complex and notifications of all non-resident visits to our apartments. We want lights. We want cameras. We want an overhaul to the maintenance system. We want a security guard on premises 24/7, and we want them looking out for us. We want the gate closed and secure. We want the ability to break our leases on our own terms, and to be able to simply sleep at night.

But that's just a reminder. Because you already know what we want, right?
