In a horrifying act of cruelty, a woman and her 16-month-old daughter were gunned down in cold blood in Mansehra, Pakistan — murdered by a relative for the so-called crime of “dishonouring” the family by marrying a man of her choice.

She begged for her life. Her baby cried in the background.
They were both silenced. Forever.

This is not an isolated case.
In 2024 alone, 346 people have been killed in Pakistan in the name of "honour" — most of them women. Many were teenagers. Some were just children. These are murders, yet they continue unchecked, enabled by loopholes, police failures, and cultural silence.
