It is completely unacceptable that nearly three weeks have passed and the school board is only now beginning to “seek” answers. This situation should have been addressed immediately. As Covering Katy News pointed out, there is nothing unclear or in dispute about what occurred. This delay appears to be yet another attempt by Katy ISD to downplay the seriousness of what’s happening in our schools.
Schools should be safe environments where children can learn—not places where they’re at risk of being attacked. We demand real answers and accountability now.
Why has no one from the board or Superintendent Kenneth Gregorski responded to the dozens of emails sent by concerned parents and community members? The silence speaks volumes. We deserve better.
