After more than two weeks, Katy Magazine has finally shared the video and post from the victim’s father on Facebook.

It is deeply concerning that it took such an extended period for this act of violence to be acknowledged. While this may appear to be a modest step forward, the collective efforts of those involved offer hope that it will serve as a catalyst for substantive change—particularly in the reform of relevant legislation and the enforcement of accountability within educational institutions.
