Change "won't" to "willn't"

The Issue

Every word we contract with the ending -n't makes sense. The word stays the same and in order to make it a negative we add not at the end- and to make matters easier we shrink it all down into one handy contraction that maintains the value of each word. All you have to do in order to find the original words that were contracted is usually just add a space and replace the apostrophe with an O.

That is not the case for the word won't.

Now, if you've done your research on the topic you'll know that won't is not a contraction of will not, but of wonnot or wol not- the original forms of will. As English evolved, the words 'won' and 'wol' changed into 'will' and that is the only form of the word that we use today.

Therefore, it is preposterous to me that we continue to make use of the original contraction. When you use 'won't' in a sentence, I guarantee you are always using it in place of will not. Never in my life have I met a person who uses wonnot or wol not. Because that's dumb and the worst. Basically, by using won't you are contracting a word that no longer exists.

The solution is easy. Grammar rules tell us that all we need to do in order to "get with the times," as it were, is to adapt to our modern language and contract the words we actually use- will not- to willn't. This is absolutely nonnegotiable and should be made the world's number 1 priority. Words that have faded into obscurity died for a reason and we should not enable this sentimentality that plays us like fools. Won't makes no sense in a world that allows for willn't.
