On Thursday the 18th of June, the parents of Englewood high school seniors got a phone call saying their graduation was going to be held in the schools gymnasium and the graduates would only be able to bring 2 guests. This revelation has caused outrage among seniors and their families who have already lost many events due to COVID-19. The seniors lost the ability to participate in their Grad Bash trip to Universal Studios, their Senior breakfast at Copeland’s, and lost their Senior Prom. So, we have decided to call on Shad Khan, the owner of The Jacksonville Jaguars, to let our graduation ceremony to be held there. We believe that since this pandemic has taken away so much already, it would be a crime to allow one of life’s most sacred events to be held in a hot gymnasium and only being allowed to have two guests. If we were allowed to have the ceremony at the Jaguars Stadium then we could bring more of our family and/or friends. Please give us our rightful ceremony.
