Sarah's story: 11/03/15 I was contacted by a tourist who found 4 puppies, 2 of them dying, on the beach of Las Galeras. She tried to save the 2 survivors and left them with a kind but poor Dominican man who has a small business at the beach and already 1 dog. Shortly after 2 German tourists met Sarah at the Grand Paradise and fell in love with her. She hangs out there a lot because 3 dogs are obviously too much for the Dominican fosterfather and she seeks attention from the tourists which isn't viewed upon favorably by the hotel's staff. The Germans want to adopt her but this is a lengthy and complicated process which will take months! WE WILL DO OUR BEST TO MAKE HAPPYEND COME TRUE FOR SARAH! In the meantime the hotel promised not to harm her. Therefore the Germans wrote a comment on tripadvisor saying that among all they liked about their vacation this was the best! Please, please, like it to show the hotel that tourists want animal-friendly behaviour!!!
