At least 19 dogs and cats were poisoned at the "Feria Ganadera" grounds, all spayed, neutered and vaccinated, many of them by Dra Lourdes. The "Feria Ganadera" is a big facility in Santo Domingo where they keep farm animals and where a big fair happens every year.It is also a popular place to dump dogs and cats. Animal lovers in Sto Dgo are feeding and spaying-neutering these animals but it looks like every year before the fair takes place there is a general "clean up" and many animals are poisoned.
